Welcome to the commercial section of the Embassy website.

As Ambassador I attach particular importance to trade and investment. Our policies on economic regeneration, the environment and energy issues are closely inter-twined. We aim to promote, through trade, a low carbon, high growth, global economy. Globally this means we aim to: 

• Increase international commitment to an open economy and achieve the Millennium Development Goals;

• Create the conditions for a rapid shift in investment towards low carbon and for an ambitious international climate agreement;

• Enhance UK energy security through more diverse supplies and more efficient global consumption.

The Embassy provides essential services to support the British economy to:
