So far, we have delivered a number of important projects, in collaboration with Tunisian governmental and non- governmental institutions, for the benefit of different categories of Tunisian society. These include improving the performance of the civil service, reintegration of prisoners back into society, the creation of a citizens advice bureau and increasing the capacity of the UGTT. The British embassy cannot deliver projects which are for the benefit of an individual or a small group. Generally we aim to fund oragnisations or groups to improve their capacity to deliver benefits to a wider community. The embassy also cannot fund projects with a humanitarian dimension only. Projects must fall under one of of the above stated objectives and serve HMG's priorities.
